Aircraft wing explained part.2

Image
..................... After we discovered how the shape of the wing's airfoil created lift force which were based on Bernoulli's principle and how to make use of it , now we take the next step of analyzing  how the shape and structure of the wing itself contributed on the performance of the aircraft, in which how the aerodynamic advantages and dis-advantages of each of the following shape and structure.   PART.2  "THE SHAPE"    W hen we talk about the aircraft wings shape, we are actually talking about the model of the wind flows that flows around it. As we know that to be an effective lift force, the wings must produce enough pressure on the underneath and smoother flow at the top of the wings, this however only focuses on the wings cutaway structure in a one sided point of view, this second part however will focuses on the stream flowing around the wings at the top point of view on an aircraft. To make it clear let me show you an example of top viewed...

Flight Quotes.....

" For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return"                                                             (Leonardo Da Vinci)                    " Men would fly to the strength of his mind, not through the strength of his muscles"                                                              ( Zhukovsky..)                                                           ...

Aircarft: The Forces Working On It.

Image
I've been working on this posting for long time in my mind...sooo. I decide to post it,most of this posting are theories about the force that works on an airplane, since I've been very interested in aviation for the last 5 years ( I started to recognize planes and aviation things since elementary), I do hope that this posting will help me to understand more about airplanes.   Part.1    Weight forces.  The weight force of the aircraft is is influenced by the mass of the plane combined to the gravitational forces of the earth ( about 9,81 m/s2).   That means that W=m.g "the gravity is influenced by the sheer size of the planet!"    This means that the vector of the force goes down.      Part.2   Lift forces.  The lift force is caused by the wings of the plane. The wings airfoil structure allow the air to flow smoothly and generates lift because the layer below is slimmer than the upper side of the wings which c...
